• no school projects either, please. I was receiving up to 60 individual requests per week from school children around the world asking me to respond to their questions ... and it was either give up writing and put myself at the mercy of school projects, or keep with the writing and reluctantly set aside the school projects. Many apologies, but I simply don't have the time to respond to all the school project requests.
• If you do write, don't forget to put your return address inside the letter! Addresses on the outside are often destroyed in the mail. If you don't include the address inside I often won't be able to write back.
• And finally - sometimes I have to devote weeks and months entirely to writing - so if I don't reply within a week please be patient - I will reply, but not instantly!
